Title: Tire guy spotted this when he was switching out my winter to summer tires.
Post by: jbrown9999 on May 22, 2018, 12:05:06 AM
The boot has no splits or cracks.  He thought it might be from over lubrication from factory.  Its definitely thick lube grease.  I can honestly say all the times I've been under the car, still not sure how long its been there.  Thoughts?

Is the strut leaking? It looks like that would be the low point it would gather to.
It would then drip on the axle a get thrown off onto the different areas.

Thanks.  I didn't see anything obvious but I'll look again in the daylight.
