Title: 13+ MKS Taillight housing cracks.
Post by: StinkinLinkin13 on March 31, 2018, 02:40:32 PM
So as I stated I've noticed both of my tail light housings have Micro cracks where the clear meets the red. This is allowing moisture and condensation to build depending on weather or even during car washing. Is this a common issue? At $400 per taillight housing it's insane. Lights work fine for now... but we all know electrical and water don't play well. Just a matter of time.

I forgot to mention that it actually caused the the clear inside to separate from the red leaving a nice size gap. I have it clear siliconed for now. Don't see any other way to fix it other that replacing the lens housing which I have yet to fine. Lights work fine for now...
