It is the pump. Just get it all done. As far as a shop. A dealer is not a bad resource. You get the work backed by the dealer / Ford.
General Discussion / Re: INSTALL ORIGINAL TUNE

Hey fellas-I'm selling my 13 SHO and need to put the original stock tune back on and it's been 9 years since I installed it.
Do I need to reinstall it in accessory mode or run mode? It looks like i will need a crash course in tuning again! LOL!

When it instructs you to on the device, you press and hold the start button for about two seconds with your foot off the brake.

Thanks, it definitely does. Already put test spacers on and it did exactly what i thought it would. Only need a 5/16" spacer. 😉👍

Don't let idiots drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Some things aren't worth arguing.

Heavenly Father I come to you standing in the gap for and with family friends for brother Brian. As you are all knowing you know our selfish desires are for him to remain among us. But let your will be done. Comfort his family as only you can. In Jesus name, amen
Performance Upgrades / Re: How to Use Whatever Rear Spring You Want

I plan on track testing the car this Saturday at Streets of Willow. I just added some more transmission cooling as the PP Trans cooler by itself wasn't cutting it. I also just got the car aligned to -2.8 camber in front and -2.0 in rear, zero toe. The settings the BC coilovers were at from the factory seemed way too stiff. I ended up turning them to full soft then turning the fronts up by 2 clicks and the rear up by 4 clicks. The ride quality is similar to the MKS sport mode now but body roll is enormously reduced as well as brake dive. My previous personal best at this track was 1:29 while on stock suspension and 275/40R18 Nitto NT555 G2s. I will be on 275/40R18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3s for the upcoming event.

Goodness. A cross country move?

Eek. Good luck with that. Where will you be referring to as home then?

And an 8 second pass huh? Goodness x2!

Lofty goals, but I'm confident that you're continued perseverance will see you achieve that goal for sure.

Continued success!

Moving near Atlanta on 11 acres so I can let the kids build on property and the grandkids will be close.
The V should make minimum 1200WHP on the twin turbo setup expecting more like 1400, lots and lots of guys in the 8's now with CTSV's, I started before them but took way longer to get it done. :)

Maintenance, Oil, and Fluids / Re: PTU Vent Leak - How to fix?
« Last post by SHOdded on May 06, 2022, 04:41:14 AM »
i would recommend giving it a couple of rounds of drain/fill with redline lwsp gear oil.  it is very high in cleaning power and should get the sludge that is still stuck to the case/gears etc.

if you don't have the OEM vent extension into the engine bay, the stubby vent could cause a recurring issue. it has a very small opening through which pressure is supposed to be relieved. so you can get caught in a vicious cycle of sludge buildup/venting fluid if it gets even partially blocked.

lwsp is good to have for heat stability, lubrication, and cleaning power. i like amsoil severe gear also, but i don't think it can clean like lwsp can.

On a 2013 Lincoln MKS, I can confirm that editing the data to that of a SHO PP allows you to add a button to disable AdvanceTrac. I just drilled a hole on the steering column shroud and put a button from Amazon through it.
