Title: 285/35 on Flower Wheel?
Post by: Bharp on July 07, 2016, 12:23:53 PM
I am currently running a 255/35 and would like to go with something a little wider but keep the short tire for better gear ratio. Has anyone tried to run 285 or 275 tires or know for sure if they will or will not fit?

a 275/40/20 is a great match to the OEM overall height....I almost tried it but didn't want be the first...the 285 is too wide for an 8"wheel....Maybe even the 275 but I think it would work

Do it and take some pics!!!!

275/40's on mine, and diameter-wise perfect. WOULD NOT go any wider, the tires balloon just a little bit, and any wider would probably rub a little bit. Awesome for traction and looks.

11000 miles on them, and I rotate every oil change, and zero issues.
