My 2010 is on auto trader as it sits with all mods. Eibachs, 3 bar map, 170 stat, downpipes, X pipe, magnaflow, methonal, stage 5, MyCal, Airaid. If I cant find somebody that wants it like this I will begin removing parts at some point and selling them off.
It is a 2010 with all options except performance package. I have the stock 19" wheels as well as 20" PP wheels.
I cant pay $500 a month to have an extra "fun" car sit in the driveway right now. I have to many hobbies and expenses.... I have been getting laid off a week a month making money tight. I can come down a bit, raised the price for autotrader to give wiggle room.

Great price for a "fun" car! Sorry you have to let it go, but hope it sells quickly for you.
Good luck with the sale!
Sorry to hear about your financial plight.
I completely forgot that you had the two-tone "umber" seating option.
A rare bird indeed.

Wish I had the cash, this would be a great car to do testing with.
I have personally seen and driven in Paul's SHO (when we met up in MI in 2012). He is finatical, like me. The car looks, sounds and drives great. That is a super price for that machine. Sorry to hear of your situation Paul.
I love it and would keep it. I just spent the last two months laid off 1 week each month..... 1 week is a chunk out of the paycheck. I am surviving but $500 a month for the SHO is a nice chunk.
My own fault. I started doing to triathlons and tri gear is $$$. Didnt realize how much that stuff costs.
Im trying to work things out with the wife. Buy all your MyCal/Meth/Stage 5 stuff, and give you all my stock parts. lol Trying to find things around the house I can sell too. LOL
SORRY to hear about the life bump on your road of life. BUT YOU STAY HERE WITH US YOU ARE STILL ONE OF OUR BROTHERS!!!!!!!
Just joining the forum and hopefully I have not missed out on your car as it is just what I am looking for. Let me know if it is still all together, price, mileage and your location. Maybe we can work out a deal.
I think he pulled the meth kit off of it yesterday. But I'm sure he could be talked into putting it back on and selling it as a whole.
Any idea on asking price?
41k miles, $28,500 I think.
Next question, where is the car located at?
Morton IL. I was at 23K/offer stock without all the parts. Now I am in waiting mode.
Dont ask me what I was doing / how I did this... But during my return to stock work I was taking a plug out and part of the ceramic broke and fell into cylinder. Big chunk actually...... Talked to a garage that does lots of engine replacement and he said 1-1.5K for them to put junk yard motor in OR pull head and clean ceramic out. Same price. Found low mile motor out of MKS nearby. Going to cost a few I dont have but such life + it is my own dumbass fault.
SO 43K on the car but the motor will be more like 20 :) that and I will try to make some of the expense back with parts from my motor. Turbo, heads, acesc, whatever. I will start posting what I have taken off in the parts section now and post the rest when the swap is done.
Yes the wife is pissed... Really pissed.... Most pissed she has ever been....
I hate to ask this but if you're going to buy a new motor how much will you sell me that motor for?
I need a second block so you might be able to break even. Maybe wife will be less pissed. :)
Let's see if we can't work something out, I'm tight this month but maybe we can spread it over 2 or 3 and you can charge me some "interest".
Well that more than sucks as we probably could have worked out a deal and you would not have had to touch anything if I would have joined this forum a day earlier, but so is life. Look forward to seing your parts come up and look forward to doing business with you. If you know off hand what you are looking at getting rid of for performance parts, PM with price and I can get you funds right now.

Dude you saying I could have left the methonal, exhaust, and everything and you would have bought? Is there a swear word blocker on this forum? I feel like swearing.....
Just another bump in the road. I actually wont loose to much money on this. I have all of the parts, and the used turbos, and block will bring some of the replacement cost. Total I may end up out an additional grand....
Wife will be pissed until the ordeal is over. I would say she wont care in 10 years but she will probably remind me about this as long as I live.
Sorry to hear that Paul. I hope you can sell enough parts to at least break even when it's all over.

Yes my block will be for sale. - turbos I assume? Just the long block prob 900-1000 shipped. Guess it depends on what freight would run. I will get with you when I get to that point. I have to get the engine + car to this guys shop first. Working on it. :)

Just got here too late to get in on it. Still will scoop up some aftermarket parts in a bundle if that helps you out.
No way to fragment the ceramic (spark plug, I assume) and then vacuum out the remnants? Surely somebody should be able to improvise a fix for this.

I tried the vacuum got one small piece out..... The prob even if I got them out would be ceramic dust in the rings. Engine is already paid for and in transit to shop. It wont be bad when it is all done, just bad for a couple weeks :)
Very sorry to hear this... been there... My re-manufactured long block from Ford cost me $4,100. plus install. Came with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Ford core charge is an additional $1,000. if not returned. How much did the used motor set you back?
My wife was very understanding. She hasn't talked to me in almost 2 years! You should see her NEW shoe closet..
I would of used a camera scope to see how many pieces are still on the piston, then either use a small grabber, or a tiny hose attached to a vacuum. Ive done this on motorcycle blocks before. Not sure how bad ceramic dust would hurt a piston ring. I havent had that problem pop up before.

2500 but it is junk yard motor. Had to pay freight to have it delivered to the garage $200. Not so bad. It is not new and he isnt a Ford dealer but he is a reputable engine installer. I should* get out under 4K.

I have a camera but our spark plug holes are tiny, it wouldnt go it. You can get much hose into that tiny hole either, anything large enough to such up the pieces wouldnt go in. I took the only hose I had that would fit, duct tapped it, and got 1 little piece out. probably 1/8 of whats in there. I believe most of it is 2 big pieces, maybe if I could break them up.... To late now arrangements are made.
OK when you're ready to discuss the motor let me know, I'd really like to get your complete motor minus turbos if possible, I'll get the hearts P&P and then forge the bottom end. :)
I have an Autel scope that will fit thru the plug holes... Cost around $200. and can video the view.
