Title: Early Build 2010 - Switch from Heated PCV to Standard PCV?
Post by: DaveBey on December 12, 2020, 10:08:05 PM
Has anyone with an early build 2010 switched from the PCV heater element and electric heated PCV valve to no PCV heater element and standard PCV valve? I have an early 2010 (engine build date 2009-10-14) with the heated PCV and would like to switch to the standard PCV.

Not sure if anyone has? The only ones who I know might have are @bpd1151 (https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?action=profile;u=152) but he has a newer block in his 2010...

Or @802SHO (https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?action=profile;u=3959) maybe?

Here are the part differences I have so far. My biggest concern is a different PCM is required.

The PCV valve is included when purchasing the crankcase vent oil separator. I do not believe there is a difference in the separator itself.
