Spark plug non fouler.
I used one on my buddies Jeep that had a bad cat. It worked long enough so he could pass.
But then the cat completely melted and almost caught his car on fire.
It was literally glowing red.
Consider this a temporary fix only.

Just curious how this would work with catless pipes to pass emissioms

Non foulers only trick the o2 sensor a little bit. Just enough, I don't think hey will work if you don't have ANY cats.
But only one way to find out ;)

I used the angled ones on a Lexus GS430 that had completely punched out cats.  The angled ones completely get the O2 sensor out of the exhaust flow path, but its still connected so it heats up properly.  Never got a CEL with them.

Doubtful that it will work at all....I had them on my 2014 SHO

Still threw 0430/0420

The ecoboost uses a pretty robust logic for determining catalyst efficiency and I think it's different than what other mfg. use

It's called the integrated fuel air method if I remember. And at various times during obd cat tests the ecu will inject fuel and then see how much fuel it takes to see a difference in lambda at the rear 02 from the front 02 sensor

The more fuel it takes then that means there is more oxygen storage in the cats and the cats are efficient....if it takes a little fuel then cats are not efficient and you will throw codes when thresholds are exceeded

Gotta find eventually a way to pass NY emissions with aftermarket DPs maybe a certain catted set out there will net a good HP gain and still set a ready status come emissions testing?

The PPE catted DP are the only ones that come to mind and recently passed my 5th emissions testing here in N.Y and couldn't be happier IMHO!
The other catted version DP are strictly for off road use only and will NOT pass I/M in readiness state.

Nice! How much power difference did those pipes gain you compared to stock?

I think roughly 5-7HP when compared to the stock bottleneck DP..
But knowing the PPE-DP will pass emissions is a clear indicator IMO and never know when the laws might change in your State!  Z   :)

Here's a good thread to give you some insight..

I don't have those specific cones, however I have catless pipes with the O2 foolers and they worked for the last 10k anyway.
