I changed my drain plug to the Fumoto Drain Valve...I like it a lot, but it does take a lot longer to completely drain the oil.  But sure makes changing oil easier and eliminates a chance of stripping the the oil pan threads.

I've been debating doing this myself. I have one on my truck and LOVE it, (Truck takes 4 gallons of oil so it's a long oil change regardless) but I've never had a fumoto on an angled oil pan before.

Does it still shoot the oil back like the regular plug?

They make 2 different valves, an angled one and one with a nipple that you can put a hose on to direct the flow. I have the angled and it doesn't shoot the oil as far as removing the plug.
