I have a 2014 Flex and was at the track last night. My last 2 runs it seemed like my rear tires didn't have power and I was smoking the front tires. What should I look at?

You Were smoking for Sure,
Tire Pressure in the Front?
Were they Spraying the surface?
and what was your ET in the 1/8?

AWD system if the above suggestions do not pan out.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I hit 79 mph in the 1/8 at 8.83. Street tire pressure. They sprayed the burnout box with water.

Never drive through a burn out box with street tires.

That much wheel spin is pretty bad.  Does it do that on the street?

It hasn't yet, but how do you not drive through the burnout box? It's right before the lane.

I looked through my slips, I ran 12 times, tires only did this the last 2 runs.

The system can overheat and cut or eliminate torque at the RDU.   Once it cools, it would be fine again.   That is a possibility if you ran 12 times and only the last two had this condition.

I run a two different tracks and the staging lanes are plenty wide enough to avoid the burnout box.   I am surprised that other tracks might not be wide enough.

Thanks, I'm going to assume that it probably just got hot then. I'll change fluids this week to be safe.

This is a really small track (Eddyville Iowa) the burnout area is literary right before the staging area, not wide enough to go around

We have a backwoods 1/8 mile track... they used to spray water so you couldn't go around it, but once the AWD guys complained they moved the water box back... so we can go around it...

I have seen guys run grudge matches where the crew "accidentally" sprays to close so the AWD guys get screwed... oh well...

Eddyville, Iowa.....been there a few times but never ran there.    That is about as remote of a location as Rock Falls, Wisconsin.   Lol

I used to have issues with the PTU heating up and the AWD turning off.
Changing the PTU oil on a regular basis made it completely go away.
I am still amazed they call it "lifetime" fluid.
