I know that wheel locks are only a deterrent and any scumbag who REALLY wants to steal wheels/tires can defeat them. Still, any modicum of deterrence is better than none. Wheels and tires are expensive after all!
Stumbled across these on a Corvette forum. Seem cool, other than looking sort of funny in the rim (like a broken lug/stud almost). Their Kickstarter campaign didn't succeed, however they claim to be continuing to work and plan to bring to market. Claim to have our size designed and in queue for manufacturing. These seem really interesting. What's everyone's thoughts on these? Only successful theft attempts I can see working is the 'weld a nut onto the lock, then remove' or the 'take the other lugs off and snap the stud off' tricks. Of course, same would hold true if you ever lost the key! Don't lose it.....lol
