So I am back here. I recently purchased a 2014 MKT and ordered Mycal, 3bar, Tstat160 and will regap plugs at 0.30.
This ought to be the ultimate sleeper on the road. I remember I had just a tune with the 2bar, nothing else done on my previous 2010 MKT about 5 years ago and it was a beast. 0-60 in 5.2 sec. So I expect to break the 5 sec. with this setup 😎
I love the luxury inside. I don't think the outside design is well balanced though. But I found a few angles where I start to dig into it. Here are a few pics after I cleaned it today:
2010 blue wrapped SHO 12.09 at 117.9mph - SOLD
2013 SHO PP 12.08 at 113.83mph...
Alky control, LMS tuned, custom exhaust, LMS catted downpipes, H&R springs, Tstat170, 3bar map, Airaid

Looks nice! Did you get the fridge and captain's chairs in the back too? I dig these things and a great sleeper it will be. Nothing like getting spanked by a station wagon that says Lincoln on it...embarrassing indeed.
2011 pp: lms 91 tune - ppe downs w/ kitties - Amsoiled myself all around - gapped 30 sp plugs - enthused driver, nervous passengers - aem drop in dry filter.

Macgyver

Nothing like getting spanked by a Hurst. ;-) lol

Post back once all is complete.

lol.
I got it used. They are very rare. It has the 6 passengers configuration. We have 4 kids quite often so the seats in the third row are easy access without having to fold the second row.
It didnt come with the fridge... but again, it would block the access from the center alley, so all good as it is.
The beige interior gives it a chic look and it doesnt feel too dark... but it is harder to maintain clean!

Looks good man! I love my MKS but I really want an MKT. Much harder to find them spec'd the way I wanted in my price range.
2013 MKS EcoBoost: Osram LED interior and license plate lights, stock otherwise.

Congrats!

So the question now is, what SHO parts work on them?  DP, H&R's?

I wont exagerate with this one. I dont want to put too much money. I want to keep it a sleeper and mostly, I want to keep it very comfortable (quiet and smooth ride). So tune, tstat, 3bar and sparks... at least for this year lol.

I hear yah!  Don't forget the AJP tune.  I did a quick look and there is only one or two of them on the market local at all and only one is a Eco.  Pretty rare beast, but I really dig wagons myself for some reason.  Congrats again.
