I recently purchased a 2015 Taurus sho and I'm about to start tuning my car. I'm in need of a 3bar map sensor which from what I've reasearced is part # cx2231 AA5Z-9F479-B. I went to my local Ford dealership and they told me that a F-150 Map sensor # cx2401 AA5Z-9F479-C should fit my car. Can anyone confirm that the cx2401 sensor will fit my car and will work with the SCT X4 or should I just order the cx2231 sensor.

Are you needing the 3 bar that is already in place, replaced, or going from 2 bar on the intake to 3 bar? F150 one should work...I wasn't aware there was even a difference in part number

I'm going from the stock 2bar and want to upgrade to a 3bar so I can start tuning my sho

CX2231 can still be used even though it's been replaced with a newer part number, yes? I found one being listed as the original CX2231/AA5Z9F479-B for a good price so I ordered it and now I find myself worrying whether or not it's still good to use.

Literally applied this yesterday to my 2015 SHO with the tune of course. Remember 3 bar sensor goes in as you are about to tune the vehicle. So, 1) put in 3 bar sensor, 2) flash vehicle tune, 3) enjoy. All completed in about 10 mins with sct x4.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
