All runs used BCB E30 tune w/meth

Run 1: 12.434@103.51  I mistakenly let off at the 1000' mark, thought it was the finish line.

Run 2: 12.418@111.54  Good race with a Corvette

Some darned good runs!  They slick the track?
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Traction wasn't too bad.  I'm not sure why my runs were that much slower than last weekend.  Maybe just the warmer air.  I had fun just the same.

BIR's a really nice track facility.

Your vids bring back memories.

As SHOdded said, very consistent runs.

Thanks for posting!!

I like running at Brainerd because it is a professionally run first class facility.   However, I always ran a tenth or so better at Rock Falls.   There is a slight elevation difference in favor of Rock Falls and the air at Rock Falls is usually better for some reason.

On the run where you let out at the 1000' mark... How did letting off 300 feet early drop 8mph, but not change your E.T. at all?  Your E.T. was actually quicker than a couple of the other runs, despite the big difference in MPH.  The math involved is making my brain hurt.

I was wondering the same.  His MPH was very consistent on all the other runs. 8 MPH faster than the one he let off.

I can't really say, maybe just because the engine was cooler on the first run?  After I realized my mistake and got my timeslip, I expected my next runs to be more in the 12.2 range, like I saw at Rock Falls on Saturday.  I was kind of disappointed with another 12.4.  But I was still pretty happy about being so close with the Corvette.  I've beaten older Corvettes (1998-ish), but I was happy to keep up with a more modern Vette, despite the close loss.

I posted the cockpit view from my first run.  You can see me let off after set of yellow lines before the finish, which I think represent the 1000 ft mark.  If you listen carefully, you can hear a faint "Whoops," muffled by my helmet.

Very nice runs indeed. Being a drag racer for most of my life. Letting off early will kill MPH but not much ET. MPH is calculated between the final 2 timing spots on the track. Its not an actual MPH you cross the finish line with like a radar gun.
