So i see the A-typical l shaped black halogen lights and they dont look right to me for the way the casing is setup on my rig,  then i see the 60$ units which look to mount differently .. yet all are listed for my car.

Which one do i really need? and does anyone have the link to the disassembly?

thank you in advance ..

US based car uses HID D3S
Canadian car uses halogen 9005

I just removed non-OEM HID's from my SHO as I am done with aftermarket HID/LED light bulbs.
I confirm what 92BlackGT stated:
For the 2010, DRL equipped vehicles (Canadian) come with halogen - 9005, non-DRL are HID - D3S.

Replacing the light bulbs is very simple just a bit hard to reach. Just remove the boot, rotate the light bulb counterclockwise and then replace it.

look into going with the 9011 HIR1 bulbs. the filament is in the exact location as the 9005 but much more light output at the same wattage. you just need to trim the top mounting tab for them to fit and they use the same electric plug as the 9005.
