When should I throw a trickle charger on my SHo... should it be if I don't plan on driving for a week? Two weeks?

AJP turbo

My opinion with the crappy motorcraft 650 would be warm weather after 3 weeks and winter 1 week of not driving.

On my 14' sho after 3 days of not using when temps were less than 10 the car wouldn't start

Thanks Brad...

It's bad... I just don't have the drive right now to play with this one... probably pickup a HPFP.... otherwise I dunno...

Gonna let it sit for awhile to figure out what I want to do... gonna put it on a trickle until I get back from Florida...

Both SHO's ate batteries like it was their job.

Anything more than a weekend I would hook it up.

Max 850 solves this issue. No problems with extended periods even with a phone and tab hooked up 24/7

From factory 650 battery my car would if not driven be dead on Saturday starting on Monday

I am not sure if this is typical still but did some googling on how to find out what is robbing the battery guess some modules can have issues not falling asleep when they are supposed to

So when I get time going to try a volt meter on the fuses see what's on then after 8 hours check again and see what's still on and see how long those items should be on for might also need to get a amp reader to see what's pulling alot of amps.
