The design looks good. The user reviews were good. That was til I got it up and running after Xmas.
Main flaw ? The 12 volt socket tip is not spring loaded so it constantly loses contact in the socket. Yup. You got that right.
Solution? Well the metal tip unscrews. The Bus fuse inside is spring loaded. So I Filed the tip flat first. I then drilled a small hole in the tip. Cut down a small flat head nail. Inserted the flat head towards the fuse. Problem solved. Took around 10 minutes total.
She works well and is worth the money I spent.
