Best trans and Best ptu fluid

 What do you guys feel the best is for these SHOs?

Amsoil and Redline would be my top two choices, but Royal Purple and Valvoline are pretty good too.  With quality fluids (and filters if applicable), the change interval is more important to keep the part functioning perfectly.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I would never put motorcraft in the same breath as amsoil or a other group Iv oils

I like amsoil LV ATF signature series for the trans and amsoil severe gear for the ptu and rdu all those are group iv oils and are worlds different from the so called fake group iii synthetics

Group iii are fake synthetics that are hydro cracked petroleum

Group iv is real man made synthetic oil

Oh ok... thought that's what you were asking.

I guess just convenience.  Advanced auto sells royal purple and i've got one about a mile from the house.  The mercon lv is typically changed every year and i just buy a case off ebay when it's time to change. 

Torque converter died on me at about 90k miles.  Still with the original ptu.  This is where i am now.
