But God help me, I still love Mustangs too....I can't help but drool when going through the Mustang area..
Yeah I love em too.  The SBF is what got me into fords in general.  If plan stay as they are, the gloves come off on this one come dec/jan.  I have been considering a repaint, and yellow in on the short list, as is grabber blue and orange.  Maybe grabber yellow, but most I have seen are to pale for my goal.

Sometimes better to ask for forgiveness than permission....

That's how I got my first SHO... but somehow ended up buying her a Jeep in recompense...

Not with my wife..found out that forgiveness is not easier than permission when I tried that with a Honda Silver Wing motorcycle....she was hell on wheels...it is the downside of being married to a woman who was also a CO.....

Yeah I am a sucker for the old pushrod motors, so mine is last of the 5.0 pushrods.  How's that mod motor been for you?

I haven't had the Mustang a year at this point but the old 4.6 seems to be doing OK.  I had two other Triton V8's but they were the 5.4's. The first gen 2 valve in my F-150 and the 2nd gen in my Lincoln Mark LT.  Both were very sluggish but so is the 4.6 in the Mustang..don't know whether it's the age and mileage or just the nature of the Tritons.  I am betting the 5.0 (302) is a much stouter engine in performance than the Triton.

Ehh not at this age and honestly the 4.6 was a stronger motor out of the gate.  Even the stock ones responded very well to a bit of boost.  Throw 8# at it and hold on...  Only 150k miles on mine, but she is pretty tired.  Can't wait to tear into her this winter.  Right now the plan is 347, though 408 has crossed my mind too.
