Yes weather does affect these things bigtime, running meth limits the effect.  There were Friday nights last year, I couldn't break into the 12's on the V10 91 tune, then other Friday nights it would.  I've had nights were it was sooo humid that the car slowed down each round.  Also track prep affects too.  Also don't forget track location too.  Close to sea level has an effect too.  I hope to prove that here in Oct when bunch of us plan on going to Cecil County.  Talking with the racers at BSD that have gone to Cecil County, they run .2 to .3 tenths quicker.

Wow.. that's a lot of ET taken off for better air...

So with the temps pushing close to 90 at the track and I am still putting down 12.3 then this tune probably has very low 12's in it... 12.0x if I can get traction...most likely 12.1's at least....

Should find out towards the end of October ;-)

Thanks for the input!!!

Not trying to Hyjack BUT:  I am working on this: 3 - 7" Fans (12VDC, 1100 CFM X 3 = 3300 CFM )
for the pit lane ... "Will be powered by a Jump Pack" Aux Fan Setup to be installed in front of the
Radiator Stack, We will be trying to install this before the week is out WITHOUT removing the
front bumper Cover...YEA RIGHT,  so full "right up" after the install, and 1/8 Mile on friday Night...!

total Parts Cost Approx. Under 150.00

Those little 7 and 8" fans can really move some air and fit into small places.  I used a pair on my 1978 5.0LMGB.  Yes I put a SBF into a MGB under stock hood.  I kept the stock 4cyl radiator too and it handled it just fine, man I miss those heavy brass core radiators!!  The Key as told to me by my radiator guy (old school brass solder fixem type guy) was airflow.  I had a pair of them with a thermal switch.  195* stock thermostat and I think the switch was set 200-205*.  You could watch the needle drop when they kicked in sitting in traffic.

Keep us updated!

Also this is related to our heat soak issue.  Is our alum intake, not the plastic like on the F150s.  I know that is lot of our heat soak issue.  I've thought about the old school trick like they used on the 90's Fox body 5.0s.  Putting ice on the upper intake trac.   I know I have seen 140-150 IAT2 temps in the staging lanes, and I think some is just the radiate heat coming from the intake.

I ran that experiment pre-meth this summer.   It took 40 minutes to drop the temp 20f.   and by the time i lined back up i was back at 160f on IAT2.

edit: another thing i found on our platform, even with the hood up, no cover no splash guard .. shutting down the car in the lanes made temps worse.  i even ran with my hood popped in error and it did not help...  that aluminum intake is spark-death-row ...

If these cars were more of a performance rig commonly (moreso than the addicts here) raced by the majority of users, I could see someone developing an aftermarket intake to combat the heat-soak.  I envision one that has channels/chambers in it plumbed in to harness the AC system and superchill the intake itself...

i'd be curious to know the cfm rating of the stock fans. after installing the manual fan switch I found that it will stabilize IAT2 with the car off for about 30 minutes and then will slowly start to drop the IAT2 as it cools off the heads etc.
