Curious if alot of folks on here have had issues with the Noisemaker.

It seems like it is something that is useless and eventually going to fail.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

I don't know of but one "failure" of the noisemaker but I do not believe it's common place for them to do so.  I replaced mine for other reasons and I believe you can use the OEM pipe from an XSport as it doesn't have the noisemaker.  There might be another model that doesn't either but I can't think of what it is at the moment.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Yup. No noise maker on the MKS.  Could probably find one in a junk yard since these cars are getting older.
