I am contemplating getting some PI wheels with some track tires.......

8.1 isn't bad when your still spinning off the line lol... I really think it's tires though...

Steal, I realize you are putting out way more power than many others but it seems that you have more wheel spin than most.  Makes me wonder if there is something not quite up to par in your AWD system.  Could it be that less power is being transferred to the rear than normal?

IMO you need to find a better well prepped 1/4 Track and a Broom for your tires.  Z

I have thought about this.... and it is a concern. I am unsure how to verify this? My guess would be that I would be able to smoke the tires if the AWD is not up to par? I know the AWD system is working, you can feel it when I drive. And when I a launch I feel it... but I do get some wheel spin... ideally I don't want any! I want it to squat, hook, and eat...

If I don't brake boost I don't get wheel spin... when I brake boost with the LMS tune I didn't get much wheel spin after the tires where warmed up and dropped to 23ish maybe a hair less all the way around?

I was hot lapping like a b*tch though trying to keep the tires warm and IATs low lol...

Brads tune is a whole different beast... that just gets wheel spin even when I just stand on it... my buddy in the stands said I broke ALL four tires loose of the line with that tune... I.E. the rear went sideways as the fronts were squealing...

My guess is the AWD is working OK... but who knows...

SBS think we had this discussion in the past but does your advance-track go "off "when exceeding 100+ ? Z

Hmmmm it does I have not noticed it... I have not really exceeded 100mph... that's mandatory jail time if caught where I live.. PLUS an additional day in the clink for every mph over on top of how the judge is feeling that day!

I need to get to MIR or Colonial Beach...

Sounds like the AWD is working as it should.   Track prep could also be part of the problem.  At my tracks, sometimes there is some dampness at the starting line from guys going through the water box or even from dripping A/Cs.  The officials try to keep it clean and dry but they don't always do a great job.

I was suggesting a 1/4 Track!!!

Here's the previous discussion on the advance track system.  Z
https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,7538.0.html

I would focus and check for any Bent rims alignment, proper wheel balanced checking that sufficient tread remains, that they are inflated to specification and that their circumferences are within 1/2"of one another and replace tires as needed and that alone will cause an ABS/ADV TRAC FAULT AND Will SET OFF A DTC.

If you can verify that chassis modifications and the tires aren't at fault monitor the steering angle PID'S in the PSCM and SCCM, the accelerometer PID'S in the ABS module (YAW, LAT, LONG, ROLL) and the WSS PID'S in the ABS module and note for any false readings when this concern occurs. Note it is normal for the steering angle PID'S to not read 0° with the steering wheel straight ahead due to the way that this position is recalculated on each key cycle. Also note that the accelerometer PID'S will need to be monitored at a standstill immediately after this concern occurs and they should read close to or at 0 with minimal fluctuation (note for difference in reading when this concern is not occurring vs. is occurring). If a faulted steering angle input is found, and depending on where the false input is originating, replace the affected component as needed (EPAS steering gear or SCCM w/ steering angle sensor). If a false accelerometer input is found suspect the RCM is at fault. If a false WSS input is found suspect a WSS/tone ring/wheel bearing issue and repair accordingly. Z

I asked the guys after I spun really bad if they were prepping the track... they said of course...

Here is a decent video of the track to give you an idea of its ummmmm quality...
