So i have a bottle that was a WW fluid that I kept and marked on the side with a pen to mix in.  Today i mixed my batch of 70/30 .. and it got warm.

??? wth

bottle is clean, it is VP Meth and DI water... yet there was a reaction of some sort.  anyone have this happen or notice this before ?

Now with pictures.

all I did was measure the temps of the Meth and DI water then pour into the mixing bottle.  instant exothermic reaction ...  Any one else seeing this ?

I need to know if this is normal and or safe to use ?   I will do a glass bowl test in a little bit.. but i expect the same thing since the WW bottle was 30% meth to begin with.

great Tinypic is being a little b*tch and not accepting pictures ?

what were the respective temps of the WW fluid and Distilled water?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

well it is excepted !

never knew that .. interesting thing, this article kinda hints that mixing does not yield exact portion results.. so my 70:30 is not 70:30 ... hmmm

Thus why mixing presents challenges in tuning, because of all the variables at play when it comes to perceived percentages versus actual percentages.

Way to much headache and hassle IMHO.

Always 100%, pure, undiluted meth for me!
