If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

FWIW Check the the Drivers side fuse box compartment to see if there are any fuses present. Z

36- 10A- Heated steering wheel

I'll check this at lunchtime.

I'll also drop the glovebox again and really dig back to the main harness and make sure the wiring isn't just taped up somewhere in the bag.  According to the diagram, the wire splits off the main harness roughly in that area, so i'll see if I can find the main harness and see if the wire comes off it.

No fuses present in that location.   Looked again for the wiring...nada.

LOL, $25,000 heated steering wheel.  Worthy of even an F40!

But it comes with high 13s out the box, a goregous TT V6, and all the outraged looks once you get tuned and run mid 12s or better in a 'grandpa' car (Can you tell I miss mine??)

So basically more info to drive this one into the grave.

Clocksprings are different.

GB5Z-14A664-D w/ heated wheel
GB5Z-14A664-C w/o heated wheel

Lacking the connection for the heater element.

Project officially dead.  However, since I have an SHO wheel with the paddle shifters, can I add those?  Does anyone have a pinout of Connection C218B by any chance?  Trying to understand if there is any wiring differences that wouldn't allow the paddle shifters to work if they were hooked up.  Looks like their signal return wires are on pin 4 and 12 of C218B.

What can I say...I like projects.

Eh...i'll just buy a SHO.

Macgyver

I was paddling today and its meh. I am sure the tuned trans shifts by AJP or Unleashed maybe make for faster shifting. Dont know.

I dont think its worth the effort unless there is some reason that I dont know about and people here with more knowledge would know. Like inclement weather etc.

Only time I really use the select shift is when it snows to put the car into 2nd gear.  Other than I've never touched it, but that might be because on the NON-SHO's you are shifting with your right thumb.

Prob not worth the effort overall.   Time to re-Ebay my parts.
