Sct x4 Canned maps for SHO work on MKS ecoboost?

Hi everyone I'm new to the EcoBoost modifications and tuning and came from the Subaru world now that things have changed in the family situation I got something larger I want to get a custom tune eventually but was looking at getting a used SCT X4 tuner and it has mapping for the 2010 - 14 SHO and when I called them to ask if that mapping would work on my MKS they weren't sure they said they never tested it on there but wouldn't the engine and ECU be the same? My plan was to buy this use tuner and then eventually go with a custom tune but if that doesn't work I might as well just go with buying a tuner from a vendor on here like Unleashed or livernois's

Typically you want to stay away from the caned tunes from  SCT,
Both Livernois and unleashed can tune your MKS depending on your ECU strategy.
Another option if you decide to go to the SCT route would be message AJPTURBO here on the forum. He's a great custom tune option.
But you can only use him if you use the SCT tuner

Thanks for your advice, have you heard much about BCB brew city boost?

I dont plan to race my car just want it more responsive and a bit more power, would like to tune on 87 and 91
