New set of SP-534's... purring nice and smooth... I guess all the tuning changes and datalogging over the past 7K miles put a hurting on the older plugs...
I think we should continue this discussion where you left off!!. .LMK. Z

Yea, not sure if one of the plugs were faulty or not... seemed early to me as well...

I had them checked about 20K and they were perfect.

StealBlueSho

I checked them the other day, all were still at .030 according to my feeler. However, the ground strap looked pretty rough and the insulator was scorched a bit on each one.

Unfortunately I don't know which tune could have causing it to run that hot as I have had 3 tuners work on it....

I rarely have KR so I am unsure.... gonna keep Brads tune on this one and check them at 3K to see if they are still getting scorched.

None the less, the miss is gone so something was not happy.

So are you guys running the E30, E50, E85 etc. etc. tunes doing better than the guys running 92-93 etc. etc. octane gasoline tunes on plug life with ethanol or not?
All Silver(er)SHO.  2012, every option with PP running new Firehawk Indy 500's.

Yes

So are the SP-534 the recommended Go To plug for tuning if you want to replace your Originals? I have 30K on my 2015 and will be tuning with AJP in a month or so. Just doing Plugs, 3Bar, K/N Filter, Thermostat.

I was running E blends which have a cooler charge... same with my meth setup... both tunes allow me to crank out more power than 93 octane by adding more boost/timing.. which can eat plugs.. especially the timing.

Yes, SP-534 gapped at .028 - .030 is recommended.
