Now that the Stock cold air intake is out of the way, we can access the thermostat.

Now we will be adding the Livernois Motorsports EvenFlo Thermostat. With one of these high performance Livernois Motorsports & Engineering thermostats, you can dramatically reduce the operating temperatures in your performance engine. Using our line of EvenFlo 160° low temperature thermostats for late model performance engines, you can dramatically reduce the operating temperatures in your performance engine. This will allow for the engine to naturally make more power, ensure consistent performance, and increase coolant flow to help extend engine component longevity.

Livernois Motorsports

Up next is one of our 3 Bar MAP sensors which goes on top of the intake manifold. This 3 Bar provides a larger boost range to work with for tuning while providing more power and excellent drive ability.

Livernois Motorsports

Up next is the Livernois Motorsports Windstorm Cold Air Intake. The stock one is removed and placed out of the way.

More flow equals more power and our Livernois Motorsports Windstorm series intake system gives you the best of both worlds! The Windstorm intake system features a dry and washable high performance filter, a new large, one-piece, rotationally-molded air box and totally redesigned air intake tube. These new one-piece air boxes feature an exclusive air filter which, when combined with the CAD-designed intake tube, provides maximum horsepower, torque, and MPG.

To the dyno for some tuning before it's ready to leave! 93 tune results will be available shortly!

Z, please stay on topic...LMS was in the middle of explaining the elaborate build thread of about the complexities of installing a cai, thermostat, and tune with map sensor...the HPFP is unrelated so stop badgering them lol

Bases were sent out to be anodized and then we have 2 scheduled for install. More info after those are installed, dyno'd and tested in real world capability.

In regards to the HPFP, and no offense taken by that AJ, all in good jest!

Ok, seriously ... 160' thermostat? I do not get it,  other than allowing it to open sooner which it will do at normal temps *before* racing temps what benefit is there ? does it flow better?
