Used oil analysis - 2015 Expedition

I just had Blackstone do a used oil analysis on my wife's 2015 Expedition EL Limited.  The oil was Mobil 1 5W30 with a Motorcraft filter.  Here it is:

As they mention in the comments, the fuel level is high.  And it appears to have diluted the oil, too, the viscosity below where it should be, and the flashpoint is lower.

Frankly, I was hoping Ford would have a better handle on this issue by now.  I previously had a 2011 F-150 Ecoboost, and it had fuel dilution issues, too, but the 3.5EB was a much newer engine then.  I'm sure some of this is related to the fact that the truck makes a lot of short trips and probably doesn't warm up fully, especially in winter, but you'd think the ECU could compensate for that.

I would also look at a leaky fuel injector as a possibility.  The interval and oil are unlikely to be the issue.  The PCM goes into closed loop very quickly, 30 sec i think, so fuel dilution should not be such a big issue.

Not sure if this link will work or not: 2013 XSport Blackstone Oil Analysis - MiWiAu

I had analysis done on my oil @ 5,091 mi on oil (37xxxx) on vehicle.

My fuel dilution was <0.5%. This was post injector repair for a stuck fuel injector.

I also have a OCC, which does seem to collect a small amount of fuel (probably less than 0.5 oz over the last 3000mi).

This was also all winter miles on my sample with lots of warmup time. My wife is a compulsive user of the remote start when it's super cold out, but my commute is 22 miles one way, so I'm usually up to temp for a few minutes before shutting down for a day at work.

A second comparison, at least.

I ended up taking the vehicle in to the dealer to get this looked at.  First off, the service writer had never heard of a UOA and was mystified about why I was bringing the truck in since it was running fine.  I told him I wanted to prevent any future issues.  So, they looked at it, and this is the report I got back:

In other words "It's supposed to be like that".  For now I'm going to let it go, but I'm going to get more UOAs done and keep an eye on it.  At least it's in their system now.
