I would go with the SCT X4 or the MyCal right now.  The tunes are dialed in, and continue to evolve even more than anticipated.  Doubt you will regret it.

If you have a transverse EcoBoost (like a SHO) HPTuners should be good to go unless Ford changed the ECU for 15-up to match that of the 15-up F-series/Mustang which is different from pre-15 F-series. The guide I wrote up for SHOs should get you started relatively quickly. HPTuners may not have every single setting unlocked but neither does SCT. HPTuners just organizes it better and the VCM Editor and VCM Scanner programs run faster and are organized better. I even switched from SCT to HPtuners for my Mustang GT so that all my vehicles are tuned via HPTuners.

I went with a SCT for now.  Keeping the HPTuner though since I already own it and can add credits later if I want to switch.

Even if you use SCT for tuning, the HPTuner comes in handy for datalogging especially on an EcoBoost Ford as it has almost full DMR PIDs instead of just SAE, and VCM Scanner IMHO is just easier and faster to use than Live Link.

this is exactly what im finding as i just got non progressive alky installed and it is easier to log with hp also than sct which i log with now
