I need some folks with low offset rims to post picks of their setup please!
There's some used rims local to me i'm contemplating . . i think they would look really good and they're pretty darn cheap otherwise i'd be considering a closer to stock offset.
i know they'll fit - they'll just have an extra 39mm of poke to them. Definetly don't mind some extra bulge from the fenders but 1.5" is quite a bit.
http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=255&aspect=45&diameter=19&wheelwidth=8&offset=40&width2=275&aspect2=45&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=9-5&offset2=20#isPage=1
I could run 265 or 275 tires and play with aspect ratio to keep it as close to stock diameter or a little bigger to fill the gap.
Anybody else running a similar dimension wheel? would love to see pics and hear any feedback.
TIA

That would be a lot of poke.

I am running a 20 x 9.5 rim with 38mm offset and it pokes out a tad more than I would like.
275 40 tire.

that's what i'm thinking. hard to eyeball with a measuring tape and envision how it would look.
on the other hand i jacked these pics from another thread here-20x10.5 25mm offset and doesn't look half bad and my setup should have less poke based on the stats. don't know what tire he's running tho-looks skinny for the rim

I run 20x8.5, 30mm offset, AMR wheels (mustang aftermarket wheels -- http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-amr-20x85-0513.html)

Attached some pics, given the way mine stick out a tiny bit, not sure how +20 would go...

Thanks for posting the detailed picks derfdog. I could handle a little more poke than you have currently but probably not another 22mm like a 20 offset would give. Oh well i'll have to keep waiting around for a good used set or drop the coin after the new year and get a set the exact size i want. Anyone else have pics to post? i'm nerding out on wheel setups now lol

No problem, I had a lot of questions about the fitment of the AMRs when I said I was going to go with them/after I went with them, so I took a lot of pics haha.

If you have the patience, mustang wheels pop up a lot on craigslist, etc. and are the same bolt pattern, in fact I am looking for a set to use for winter wheels at some point haha

yeah i'm keeping the stock 19s for winter wheels and lookin for summer 19s or 20s. want something 8.5-9 wide and probably go aftermarket for weight savings.
