My 3rd brake light fell again after being fixed one time. When it decided to fall this time, it pulled a small button connection off of the rear windshield. My cousin and I were stumped with this. Is there a way to glue the small metal button back to the rear windshield? Or what would be the proper way to go about fixing this? I have attached a couple pictures for reference.

If the button mounts directly to the glass then you could use the rearview mirror epoxy. If it mounts to another type of material then I would look at using a high strength epoxy.

I wonder if the kit comes with the connector. 95.97.  Z      http://www.tascaparts.com/ford/taurus/ag1z13a613a/2011-year/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/electrical-cat/high-mount-lamps-scat/?part_name=high-mount-lamp

It is not so much the connector on the light side. It is more of a connector on the glass side.

I thought about maybe using the rear view mirror glue but if this is electrical connection, the glue has to be able to conduct.

I talked to the dealership and they how no idea how to even go about it.

That adhesive does look pretty promising. I will have to look more into that route.
