MKS leaking clear liquid under vehicle

Keep in mind that the A/C compressor and A/C system is active when the defroster is on to dry out the cabin air, as long as the ambient temperature is above around 35 degrees (I don't recall the exact temperature).  So if you've been using your defroster recently, that could explain water coming from the evaporator core drain.

I'll also add that if you drive around with the climate control set to "Auto" it keeps the A/C on as well, even if you haven't selected A/C from the buttons.

So i've been keeping the climate control off and the liquid puddle has gone down in quantity. However the liquid now has a red hue to it.....The brake fluid level is good......and i fear the its from the tranny or ptu. I got the tranny and ptu fluid changed out a little over a month ago. I checked the tranny fluid level and it seemed low from what i could tell.

Attached are some pictures....hopefully something isnt leaking....

Oh my, that's more than just condensate.  That does look like it could be transmission fluid.  Are you able to put some white cardboard or white paper/paper towels on a sheet of cardboard to park over for a better estimate of the color?

I took it into the mechanic and they said the transmission axle was popped out. I have no idea when or even how that happened but he filled my fluid back up and i was good to go.

PHEW.

Glad you found the issue.
That's a strange one for sure.

What side was popped out?

Glad it was a quick fix!  Strangely enough, we had an Edge owner pop out the axle boot while replacing the LCA, same result.  Wonder why the axle popped out ...?

Good to hear the problem was diagnosed and fixed.

I'd double check that transmission fluid one more time.  Make sure the engine is hot, running, and you've gone through all the gears.  Check it on a level surface to make sure you're adequately topped off.
