Posted this over in the Eco Owners Forum, but thought I would try here since everyone seems to of moved here anyway.

For those that have installed their own springs on the 2013 SHO. I'm assuming you used an impact gun to remove the two strut bolts (strut to spindle bolts) out? A 3 foot breaker bar couldn't break them free. The nut came off without a problems, but the bolt didn't want to budge.

BFH? :)
All weight is off the spindle I'm assuming. Did you try some of the break loose spray?
These are so new I don't know of a write up for them.

I haven't done this but I think I heard this.

You have to apply pressure to find sweet spot and then bolt just slides out.

Just a thought?

The bolts are splined and they have to be driven out.

Splined, interesting.  I guess that would explain why they don't rotate out.  Thanks for the tip!  Hopefully I'll get some time next weekend to swap the springs.

I try and take pictures and write down some details for a write up. I'm not that great at remember to take pics though.

I'm new-ish so hopefully it's okay to post on an old thread, but with either the H&R or Eibach's that have the 1.5"-ish drop, are there any issues with 20" front wheels rubbing on the fenders or anything?

Haven't had any reports of issues with rubbing or clearance with the stock wheels.  Now, sometimes, the H&R springs will creak if not seated properly.  And the stock struts/shocks may have a shortened life.  Those are the two things I know of.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

love mine, best investment I did. the car drives as I like it, firm and steady. The looks without gap just make the car look like it is different car...get them and don't look back
