How long have most people been getting the EBC brakes to last? My stock brakes seem to last about 20k miles which is complete BS. I was thinking of going with the slotted brakes and redstuff.

I know of one owner who toasted his EBC's road coursing them..... the visual was quite interesting.

But they are still a solid improvement vs. the stock offerings.

If you're gonna do it, I'd highly recommend going with their Yellow Stuff, or even their newest Orange Stuff offerings, over the Red's.

You'll be glad you did.

Did he toast the rotors or just the pads? I think I know who you are referring to.

Just the pads

Also none of the websites I have seen have an option for EBC pads in the performance pack size. I know they both fit on the same caliper but the performance pads have more surface area. On the 2014 is there a difference in the pads for pp vs non-pp?

I used redstuff, thought they were great pads, BUT I never got more then 20,000 miles. There is one brand of rotor made in Australia that the redstuff brake pads and rotors don't match. Of course that the new rotor I had and I only got 6700 miles! Changed to Hawk HPS had no more problems but the redstuff was a little better (on G8 gt)
