Nice find! I love the price, but wonder if an SUV tire is a good choice? Thoughts?
Granted, my S weighs as much as an SUV. I just don't drive it like one.

The above mentioned tires are probably better suited for an X-Sport but may also fit many applications including the MKS,the Ventus Evo 12 are similar to these and both are zr rated tire and IMO are awesome summer tires that provide great traction, think they have a 100.00 rebate going on at the moment,[click on the chat.]for any questions you may have. I used this tire when I first installed new rims. Tires were fine. But I only got roughly 12000 miles on them. I replaced them with Firestones. Have longer warranty and I have always gotten great performance from Firestone tires. You can see where I installed by clicking link in signature.
This is tire I had

They ARE summer tires, so life expectancy should be in perspective. Reviews of similar tires:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=SST
Performance seems to be fine, but expect no more than 15K miles before needing replacement. At the price point, a pretty good deal!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights
If tuned: Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I think the suv tire label comes from the size. 255/45/20 is popular in the mid size lineup.
It's the size I'm currently using on my SHO, so it does fit
2010 red candy metallic non PP 402B
AJPTURBO 2 BAR Tune Stock 14.1@100.3 / Tuned 12.83@107.7
K&N panel, RX OCC, Sp-534 @.30 Tint 50%F-35%R BOV bypass
1997 SHO silver frost (sold)
1990 SHO triple black 5-speed (saved my life)
