MY15 MY16?

Hi so I finally loaded up FORScan on a Windows box and when it connected to my car it asked if it was a MY15 OR MY16 what is a MY?

Im guessing the number is the year.

Model Year I assume

MY = Model Year
FY = Fiscal Year
CY = Calender Year
