So I'm at one of my client's office working on setting up a dept. shared calendar for the recent O365 migration I did.  I'm working away and I see out of the second floor window a small truck with a sweeper on the front of it.  "Meh." I think to myself.  THEN I heard the spray truck painting roadway lines...like the outside white lines.  And you can just guess where my car was parked.  Yup...you probably guessed it, right on the street where they drove right on by and sprayed.

I instantly knew I had paint on my car, hell I could actually see it all over my tires.  I wanted to just stand up and yell, "WTF!" but I kept my composure in front of my clients but was pissed as all get out.

So, tomorrow after my final Dr. appointment in the morning for my finger I broke I'll be busting out my cleaning supplies and getting to work on getting that s*** off my car.  Hope I should be able to get it all off.  Most of it is on the tires and wheels once I looked at it closer.

Paint on the plastic trim (if any) might be a little difficult but anything on the car should come off with a good washing.  You can always use some cleaner wax to help get it off. Old friend bought a new mustang and had it parked in the driveway. Next door they were spraying a new house and the hose to the sprayer broke and turned his blue 'stang to an off white color.

Mineral spirits, or even Xylene if none of your standard efforts work.

Tar-X, Tarminator, and/or a clay bar should help rid the nasties.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Mr clean Magic eraser? There's not much on any surface I haven't been able to get off with that.

Thanks for the options for removal.  I will have to say I never thought of using one of those magic erasers.  I'm just really really glad I put on a couple good applications of wax on my wheels before I had them put on the car.

Dont use a magic eraser as it's mildly abrasive (not good for clear coat).

Eraser would only be used on the lower plastics...never on paint as you've stated.

That really sucks but glad the paint was mostly unscathed and wish there was a camera nearby.  Z
