How do you get a 1.7?  My best is 1.99 with non PP 20's so I probably have worst factory setup but I would like to improve on it if possible. Launching at 2k and running Livernois 4+ tune.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. Interesting thing though. I have an app on my iPhone called Dynolicious that a buddy told me about. He says its pretty accurate for 0-60, p1/8, 1/4, etc. times. I tested my 0-60 four times. Twice brake boosting, launching at 2,000 RPM's, and twice just straight up. My brake boosting times were 6.1 and 6.2 seconds. The other two were 5.4 and 5.5. I am 100% stock.

And traction control on or off?  Sounds the cars nanny mode (torque management) was holding things back.

I can't speak for the SHO's but I know the Explorer TM is insane from the factory and that it thinks of throttle position as merely a suggestion, not a command.

He has a 3100rpm stall converter in the car... :)

On of the runs I was in 'sport' mode. But I would probably see better times with advance trac completely off. And a tune reducing or eliminating torque management would help for sure.

As the fastest tune only car in the club 1.81 to 1.85 60". That staging shallow, no water, launch at 2000-2100 (that's the best rpm stock PP-brake will hold)!LOL  I will hope to with the new powerstop brakes launch at 2200rpm.
