Glad to have you and your Fusion here, Adam!  First Ford?  First forced induction ride?  What do you think of your Fusion so far - hits/misses?
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Not my first ford, don't have my 97 Explorer in the sig but it's at 202k on the ticker ans still going strong.

Fusion is my first forced induction setup and to be honest I love it, even in stock form.

I think they hit the segment on the head. They have a ton of features, excellent ride, super quiet cab, and a great sporty feel.  Eager to see the new sport with the 2.7tt, that thing will be a rocket.

Only gripe is the 6f35 and how ford programmed it.  I wish I could turn off the hill decent assist, it makes the shifting odd in 40 to 45 mph situations.  Other then that, it feels strong, hoping it stays that way as majority of the issues should be sorted out now but who knows.

The best way to handle the trans is through a tune.  Which also can enhance driveability, power, and mpg all at the same time - miraculous isn't it!  Other than that, ignoring Ford's "lifetime" fluid spiel and following a Severe Duty service schedule for the trans does pay off.

I've tossed the idea around to get it tuned. I am not new to the world of tuning, our edge is tuned and love it.  Fusion is a mile monster, so durability is primary goal.

Fluid changes are a must, agreed!  Annoyed ford went back to the "no serviceable" approach as it turned out poorly for the 4th gen explorers.  I just prefer to be able to do it myself but what can ya do.

Welcome and thanks for joining!

As long as you keep your foor out of the go fast pedal, MPG shouldn't suffer at all and many of the tunees report better mileage.

I am not one of those folks... ;)

Welcome! My son just bought his first car a 2014 Fusion 2.0T FWD. I picked up a Cobb tuner for him (I'm not a dealer :( ) and we're planning on dynoing pre/post here soon.
