I would also simply check the settings on the left side of the instrument cluster to make sure if any feature was changed especially after loading a tune.  Z

Does the Battery management system appear on the screen (battery saver)? Z

Yeah i did notice a prompt on the screen when the car wouldn't start

Mine has done this from day 1, tuned or otherwise.

As soon as power is restored the batt mgmt prompt comes up but it appears that it stopped half way.

I suspect the battery mgmt program fails to finish and modules aren't going to sleep.

I'm on battery number 3 already but it hasn't acted up in a while.
