Who has their chrome trim around the windows repainted?

Thanks all...she's coming along nicely so far.

Really happy with the vinyl job, holding up perfectly so far.

The grille is from Tommy Designs...who lost buyer confidence, but 2 guys just ordered grilles this week...will keep you guys updated on that process.

Grille runs $700 for upper & lower...after having mine painted once, then the mesh powder coated & the paint stripped and Hydrographics done has the total cost at way more than I'd like to say.

Plastidip looks great and lasts a long time if done right. 2+ years on my trim blackout project.

no idea how hard it was to put on as i let the shop do it, and they're apparently idiots because im going back tomorrow, they didn't secure my lower grill very well and its already popping out on the passenger side of the car, the new grill on the top works great though

local place that did my tint gave me a rough estimate $300 to vinyl wrap, but said I should stop in so they can actually see it

Is there a lower fascia interceptor grill piece to compliment the main upper one?? I like it but I'd be more inclined to like that much more if they matched in mesh opening size. Or maybe I'm just being too picky.

I paid $240 to have mine done for a reference...make sure they wrap around the top edge of the chrome on the upper parts. They will have to hold the rubber up to get the wrap in there.

The interceptor has a different bumper actually, there is no installed lower grill its just some bumper material molded in some open spacing.

What I was considering putting in there is the SEL grill part DG1Z-17K945-AA

when i lookup SEL grill though, some i see have a chrome trim on it, and others are all black, so I'm unsure if that would work. I might just plastidip the thin chrome strip on the lower grill, its not even very noticable right now so I didn't bother

Tommy Designs does offer a lower grille too...he just supplied 2 orders so it looks to be a legit option.

The 3m vinyl wrapping seems to be the best option,if the Police utility are using them to wrap portions of there cruisers it must be a durable product,heres a link to maintain the vinyl wrap. I am going to plastidip mine tomorrow or wednesday and add glossifier to the top for a nice gloss back finish. I will update with pictures once I am done!
