Hi everyone I'm from Toronto, Canada. Weighted my options and budget and just picked up a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL 2.0L ecoboost. Car has 40,000 miles and I picked this one up in White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat. So far I have done very minimal mods but I would like to dive in more this coming year. I've been doing some research and obviously the 2 liter isn't very popular for mods AT ALL but at the time I was looking for a vehicle, the SEL model had everything I was looking for, size upgrade, nav, leather, back-up cam and as previously stated fit the budget.

I'm going to get the interceptor grille for sure and upgrade the headlights (horrible) but I really want to change the exhaust, full cat back if possible. I've heard the exhaust layout is close to the SHO so I'm hoping I can find something bolt on. CAI would be awesome but I can't seem to find one, we share a similar engine with the fusion but I'm not sure if that would fit. might need to go for a universal one or just drop in a k&n filter.

Anyways I'll be posting progress pics as I go along in the near future and referring to this site for some advise, ideas and wisdom.

Cheers :D

Welcome, 6thgenbull, glad to have you and your newest ride here :)  Do you know if this is same EB engine as in the Edge ('12+, I believe)?  A dropin K&N should improve sound & possibly performance.  CAI is only needed when you make major mods, otherwise mostly it's about looks.

Very interested in the mods progression :thumb:  Would be nice to add some HOW-TOs for this setup as well (Hint, Hint).
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
