Ford Window Sticker Generator not working

Anyone notice that the website where you type in your vin and it will provide you with the window sticker is not working? It now says that a window sticker has not been generated for this vehicle. Weird, it was a great tool for research. Anyone know why Ford disabled it?

It is now only available to the general public for new and used vehicles officially listed by dealers as being in Ford inventory.

Yeah, it sucks now! There are quite a few times www.etis.ford.com isn't available either to pull up vehicle info, claims OASIS is down at the time.

I used to use this alternative link http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker/FordSticker.html?title= , but that suffers the same indignities as the inventory link.

No different from the TSB info being pulled from fordservicecontent links for general consumption.

So how can I get the window sticker for my car? The dealer already threw away the window sticker when I picked up my new car late August. Why would ford shut down such a good resource tool?

I'm going to try and ask some ford techs and see if they have a clue. It's weird that Ford would get rid of a harmless tool

Maybe it's a) cutting into dealers' "exclusivity", or b) helping the criminal element somehow?

They all went back to the same server and are all broke. I was in the middle of trying to find an SHO/MKS a couple weeks ago when it broke. I was given a number to ford performance and they were able to read me the details on the MKS that I bought. I also had the option to purchase one for I think $30. PITA, but they will read the info to you if you need to know what is on something you are looking at.

Yup, I know ford performance will sell you a new window sticker for the low price of $30 plus shipping. Just would be nice to have it online, quick, easy, and free
