If any of you remember me I was last on here when I finished my SHO project (upgraded turbos, meth, downpipes, etc.). Then it threw a rod out of the block a few weeks after I got it back from getting tuned. I tossed around the idea of putting a motor in it and since I get bored with cars quickly at the same time I was shopping around for something else. I ended up finding a dealer that was willing to take the trade minus $2,500 for a used motor -- a deal I couldn't pass up, so I called up a friend and had it back to stock the next day and it was gone. I did a 180 and got a Subaru BRZ. I enjoyed the BRZ, it was fun I did a few minor modifications to it but the lack of power and expense into getting it at an acceptable level wasn't worth it.
So now I have a 2015 Focus ST and the same day we picked my girl up a 2015 Edge Sport.
I'm currently putting a Mountune MR300 package on the Focus and prepping it for DD and weekend track days. Mountune clubsport suspension, 6-piston Wilwoods, upgraded cooling, and a few other items.
I mainly got back on here for the Edge. I'm extremely curious about the strength and reliability of the new 2.7 Ecoboost drivetrain with added power. Livernois just released their tune for it and they are getting
over 100 hp/tq increase, tune only, which is far more power than I was seeing with the 3.5 and a tune in the SHO. I was really shocked when I read the numbers. I found 1 track video so far where an owner picked up 1.2 sec. and 8mph in the 1/4. Impressive.
Here's the Focus, I don't have any pictures of the Edge on my phone.
