Window tint and state inspections

I'm moving to TN which has auto inspection . How strict are states typically about this with regard to tint? I live in FL and was going to get them darkest legal in FL which I think is 30 - 35 in front and 20 on the rear . Will also install limo/ 5 % strip across the top in front.
I'd prefer 20 all the way and would do this if staying in FL.
2010 non-PP. K&N drop in.

I believe each state is different regarding tinting windows. Here in OH 50% is the limit but people will do that on the front driver and passenger doors and then do 35% on the rear doors and back glass. The strip across the front of the windshield is also limited and cannot be more than 5" in height from the top of the glass I think.
It's best to look up the revised codes for the area you live or plan on living in to know for certain. Usually a quick call to a local tint shop can yield the proper information as well.

Tint law %ages:

For Tennessee:

2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights
If tuned: Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

In North Carolina they are very strict. They measure each window on my car (i watched them do it), I'm at the legal limit, I think its 35% here. Brutal, cause I'd like 20% too.
2010 LMS Mycal 4X3Bar with K&N typhoon, 170 tstat, 534 plugs gapped .030, PPE Downpipes, magnaflow X Pipe and stock mufflers. Eibach Springs and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.
