I decided to use TURTLE WAX® ICE™ SHINE LOCK SEALANT. I started with the hood and first made the mistake of using too much pressure with the applicator when applying it. You only need to hold the applicator lightly while overlapping the product. There were a couple streaks when I finished but it easily blending in with the included buff cloth. I am impressed with the shine and recommend this. Takes about the same amount of time as waxing. Costs about $18
