hood vibrate @ 100mph

Anyone else have their hood start to vibrate around 100? Mine does, when it happens, looks like it is not mounted in the rear (near the windshield) all that well. Have not been able to figure out why.

Usually, the bellypan is not fastened properly when that happens.  That's part of its' job, to keep the aerodynamics smoothed out.  A little bit of flopping is to be expected at triple digit speeds, though not a whole lot at 100 or so.  Go higher, and you would want to get hood vents and maybe even the hood pins like bpd installed on his SHO.

Interesting - did not think about the belly pan. I know mine is kinda loose. The screws do not hold it tight against the frame. Like maybe a 1/4" short of being tight.

X2 Definetly agree with SHOdded,anything loose like that is not a good thing,any rattles of anykind,especially with the a/c on? BTW sure like the undercarriage cover on this site,possibly provide better cooling  and something to consider for many of us.  Z         http://www.ford.com/fordpoliceinterceptor/features/#/durability/durability_05/

The PI pan looks like it will also strengthen the sub frame.  :-)
