After going through 3 sets of GoodYear F1 Supercar tires in 35,000 miles (about 2 1/2 years) on my 2010 SHO, and one of them coming apart on me yesterday(the inside sidewall had a 4 inch defect tear), I decided to go with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06's which is Continentals's next generation of ultra-high performance all-season tire and new this year.  The F1's had no tread life warranty while the Continental's have a 50,000 tread life warranty.   I can't give a review yet because I've only driven 5 miles on them.  I did notice a quieter and smoother ride.  I paid $237 apiece installed at Dunn Tire.  I was given a credit for F1 defect tire which helped lower the cost.  They are also Y rated.

I have the LMS 4X tune and will be going to the 1/8 mile track tomorrow to see if these tires perform traction wise like the F1's.

All four wheel bearings replaced winter 2014-2015 (all failed at different times and within four weeks of each other, PTU Failure at 54,000 miles. Climate heat issue fixed, halfshaft issue. Right front strut bearing plate failure at 79,000. TSB installed the thrust washer over the halfshaft.

Hope these perform at least as well as the DWS's that I fondly remember :)  Wonder if the sidewall has been stiffened up in this version, in which case you may need to lower tire pressure a bit ...  New PB ahoy :D

Welcome aboard the E.B.P.F partner, post some pics of the new ride,as far as the new Conti's go,make sure to break them in easily for at least a couple hundred miles for optimum performance,my original eagle f1's only lasted me 15k but they were great on the track due to it being a summer tire with a softer compound,BTW always feel free to ask any questions you may have and welcome.  Z

They have a 35% improvement in resistance to impact damage over the DWS as a result of a new high-strength two-ply sidewall.

Interested in how you like them.

I need new tires, F1's are bald in the middle.  Running them out until October when the snow starts flying and I'll put my winter setup on.  Won't need to buy new tires until next May, so have time.

Pretty good!  I ran the DWS's for 7 years on my '95 (yes, relatively lo miles/year) before they finally started showing signs of cracking.  Out in the weather the whole time, not garaged.  I felt the steering feel could've been a bit better, but all-weather performance was great.

Look forward to a review after you have a bit more time with them.  I have the DWS06 on my radar too.

These are on my short list so I along with a few others it would appear look forward to some reports.  I still have the P7's on my list but I'm afraid they will take away from some handling of the car which I do not want at all.

I really wasn't a fan of the old DWS but since I need to decide on a solution for Ohio winters I'm interested in how the new ones perform.

As far as track performance, I ran a 8.52 1/8 on them at full pressure with no slip.
