Code p0430 with tune

Question, am playing with the tunes I got from Torrie @ Unleashed, started with a mileage 87 tune to validate that for commuting so I can get good gas mileage still.. had to justify the expense to the AWA...
All good, then moved to the 92 performance to see how that one feels and responds, and after driving to work with it and 1/2 way home, my check engine light came on, threw code p0430.. Catalytic converter bank 2 not efficient... I cleared the code at dinner and drove it a bit and it didn't come back on, But this morning it came back on. Anyone else see this? I assume something I did caused it.. I have the 3bar, t-stat and plugs, nothing else done to the car yet.. I put the 87 tune back on and reset the codes and so far it hasn't come back.
Should I worry my cat is going bad or that the higher performance is going to do something to it? only 57k on the car and I have warranty left... could the o2 sensor be marginal? IIRC the bank 2 is the front "easy" to reach bank..

Welcome to EBPF!  What year SHO?  At least for the 2010-12s, the bank 2 upstream sensor is turning out to be a possible weak point.  So that might be it, since you have not been running the tune a long time.  Or it could actually be the cat, since there are no O2 related codes.

Clear codes, return to stock, see if the code pops up again.  If it does, take advantage of the warranty coverage and get it fixed.  I believe emissions warranty is at least 80,000 (more in CA?), so shouldn't be out of pocket.  Have them check fuel injectors as well, as they can become leaky over time.

I assume the 3bar went on top of the manifold since you were able to use it with the 87 tune.  Plugs gapped to 0.030.
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Sheesh, sorry, yeah, 2010.. Only has 57k on it so far.
With the 87 tune, I've run it for over a week with no codes, but showed up fairly quickly on the 92 perf tune.  I'll try the other 2 and see.
I did buy the spark plugs from Unleashed as well, they said they were pre-gapped so I trusted that. I may pull a couple and check them if I can find my gapping tool. I couldn't find it that day and got lazy.
