I think a good place to start would be checking the amount of oil inside the CAC with an oil dipstick,mine had less than half an inch of buildup inside,had the dealer suck it out with a compressor type air gun hose,also would check the oil seperator by the rear valve cover by removing it and emptying it out,its held down by two 8mm bolts and a clip closest to the firewall,just remove the pcv valve and check to see how much oil is inside,BTW mine was replaced under warranty and found a large sum of oil inside.
