Finally took my 2013 Ecoboost Police Interceptor to the track. Car is completely stock, launched off the brake. 1/4 tank of gas.

First pass:
13.888 @ 100.53 mph. 2.154 60'.

I removed my full size spare (couldn't believe how heavy it was) and trunk lining and made another pass:
13.651 @ 101.10 mph. 2.049 60'.

Couldn't believe how much of a difference it made removing that full size spare. With new wheels alone I bet I could run bottom 13s.

My best pass of the night:
13.617 @ 101.29mph.

I'm very happy with these times! Can't wait to start modding! Attached is my best time slip from the night.

Best Time: 12.829 @ 106.88, 1.835 60 foot.

Kickass first times!  I bet that spare weighed a good 85-90 lbs!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Nice runs!

Interesting how your mph (100.53) with spare and 1/4 tank was virtually identical to my mph (100.48) with spare and ~1/2 tank.

Run premium fuel?

SpeedTrap

I noticed that too. I think the weight helped out my 60 foot a tad. I am running premium fuel.

Try removing each of the interior door panels too.....

You'd be in equal disbelief in how heavy just those panels alone are as well.

I know I was amazed when I removed my panels in the past, just as much as I was amazed at the weight of the spare.

Seriously.

I run mine like it drives on the street
